Certification Course: Specialization in Homeopathic Treatment of

Autism and Developmental Disabilities

Course Overview:

This 40-hour certification course is designed for homeopathic practitioners looking to specialize in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDDs), including ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and Global Developmental Delay. The course integrates classical homeopathy with modern therapeutic approaches, empowering practitioners to provide holistic and individualized care to children with developmental disabilities.

Who Should Enroll:

• Post Graduates in Homeopathy in MD Paed, MD Psych, (or other) to gain specialisation in pediatric neurodevelopmental disorders.

• Homeopathic Doctors exploring specialised approaches for managing NDDs in their clinics, or their communities.

Online Course- Recorded sessions, with a combination of Live lectures. 

 

Course Modules:

Module 1: Overview of Child Development (6 Hours)

This module covers the fundamentals of child development, with a focus on understanding key milestones and identifying developmental disorders early.
Sub-modules:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD): Diagnosis, challenges, and homeopathic approaches.

• ADHD: Behavioral patterns, cognitive challenges, and homeopathy.

• Cerebral Palsy: Motor development and homeopathic intervention.

• Global Developmental Delay (GDD) & Other Syndromes.

 

Module 2: Overview of Disability – Medical and Social Models (4 Hours)

Learn the differences between the medical model, which focuses on treating impairments, and the social model, which emphasizes societal inclusion and support for individuals with disabilities.

Module 3: Applying Homeopathic Concepts to Child Development (20 Hours)

This module focuses on applying classical homeopathic principles to pediatric cases. Topics Include:

• Homeopathic Approach to Developmental Disorders: Concepts of Classical Homeopathy applied to child development.

• Specialised Case taking and Case Analysis

• Identifying relevant rubrics for neurodevelopmental disorders and reaching the prescriptive totality

• Applied Materia Medica

• Case Studies: Examples of treating neurodevelopmental disorders with homeopathy.

 

Module 4: Supportive Therapies (6 Hours)

Incorporating essential supportive therapies to enhance homeopathic treatment outcomes:

• Speech Therapy

• Occupational Therapy

• Physiotherapy

• Behavioral Therapy

• Sensory Integration Therapy

 

Module 5: Community-Based Interventions (4 Hours)

This module explores the critical role of community engagement in improving developmental outcomes.

• Parent Training: Empowering families to administer homeopathic and therapeutic care at home.

• Training Community Workers: Integrating local healthcare providers into the treatment plan.

• Collaboration with Government Programs and NGOs.
